Day Trip - Cycling Downhill with Guide This fabulous day out is done in conjunction with OUTDOOR-TOURS Ltd and starts at their office close to Lagos. From here you are brought by a mini-van to the highest peak in the Algarve, the Foia on 902 metres, in the middle of the Serra de Monchique where you can enjoy stunning views to the west & south coast. Your guide takes time to explain the route and the bicycle over a coffee before you start out and remember it is DOWN HILL ……….EASY !

You cycle with an experienced multilingual guide who will stop at suitable viewing points and also tell you about the wildlife & nature of the region. A support vehicle follows the group (maximum 16 people)

The aluminium ‘all terrain' bikes are custom made and have safe hydraulic brakes from Magura, comfortable gel seats and front suspension. The handle bar is higher than on a normal bike, so you will enjoy a safe and comfortable sit position. We provide you with a helmet and a water bottle.

The trips are suitable for everyone between 15-65 yrs with some cycling experience.

There are 2 different routes for you to choose from:
